CLWT100 closed-loop wind tunnel test stand is specifically engineered for the precise thermal analysis and characterization of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and other electronic components. The system offers meticulous control over the testing environment, maintaining stable temperatures from ambient (room temperature) up to 85°C. It generates standard air velocities of up to 7 m/s and is fully customizable upon request to provide high-speed airflow configurations reaching 50 m/s.

Closed Loop Benchtop Wind Tunnels

The CLWT100 closed-loop wind tunnel test stand is a versatile closed-loop wind tunnel designed for two primary applications: advanced thermal analysis (e.g., heat sink performance) and high-accuracy sensor calibration (air velocity and temperature). Key features include an intuitive GUI controller for easy automation, a top-access hatch and guide rails for rapid sample setup, and a transparent test section for real-time visual monitoring. Additionally, multiple instrument ports on the sidewall enable the easy installation of sensors for comprehensive data acquisition.

 

Unlike open-circuit wind tunnels, this unit utilizes a closed-loop, recirculating airflow design. This allows the integrated heating system to rapidly and efficiently heat the air to a precise setpoint, fulfilling the requirements for elevated temperature testing under specific industry standards.
