Recently, our company successfully delivered a high-volume fan performance comprehensive testing rig to a leading domestic fan manufacturer, officially putting it into use for performance testing of the company's self-developed high-volume fans. This collaboration not only signifies the recognition of our equipment in the high-end fan testing field but also provides professional testing capabilities to "escort" the client's product development, proactively identifying potential defects and helping them enhance their product's market competitiveness.

Client Needs: Focusing on High-Voltage Fan R&D, Urgent Need for Precise Testing to "Defuse Potential Problems"

 

As a leading company specializing in the production of various types of fans, the client focused on the R&D project of "high-volume fans"—these types of fans, due to their high air volume requirements and complex application scenarios (such as large-scale industrial ventilation and commercial air conditioning systems), have their aerodynamic performance and heat dissipation stability directly affecting the end-user experience. The client clearly stated their core need: to comprehensively detect potential problems in their self-developed high-volume fans through professional testing equipment, proactively avoiding product defects and mitigating risks in subsequent mass production and market application. Previously, while the customer had basic equipment to support testing small wind turbines, traditional equipment suffered from problems such as narrow airflow measurement range, insufficient data accuracy, and inability to generate key performance graphs when facing "high airflow" scenarios, making it difficult to meet the in-depth testing needs of the R&D phase. Therefore, finding a professional test bench that is suitable for high airflow scenarios and has comprehensive functions has become a key step for the customer to advance the R&D project.

1. Ultra-wide Airflow Range, Covering All High-Airflow Testing Scenarios

 

The equipment has a standard airflow measurement range of 271–8486 m³/h, and also supports expansion to larger airflow rates according to customer needs. It fully covers the testing range of the client's self-developed high-airflow fans, eliminating the need for additional testing environment setup. This solves the core pain point of "insufficient measurement range" in traditional equipment, ensuring accurate data for high-airflow fans of different power and specifications.

 

2. Comprehensive Testing Capabilities for Thorough Defect Identification

 

In addition to basic airflow, air pressure, speed, and system impedance testing, the equipment automatically generates key performance graphs such as PQ (Pressure-Flow Rate), SRC (Sound Pressure Level-Flow Rate), and RQ (Resistance-Flow Rate). These graphs visually reflect the fan's performance changes under different operating conditions. For example, the PQ curve can determine the fan's pressure stability under high airflow loads, while the SRC curve can identify sources of abnormal noise during fan operation, helping customer R&D teams accurately pinpoint "hidden problems" (such as excessive local duct resistance or speed fluctuations under high airflow) and avoid defects at their source.

The equipment is not only suitable for testing customers' current high-airflow fans but also covers various types of fans, including axial fans, centrifugal fans, and DC/AC fans, as well as heat dissipation performance testing in the electronics and power fields, such as power modules and IGBT cooling systems.
