With the explosive growth of AI data centers, global telecommunications infrastructure, and optical communication networks, the thermal management of high-power hardware has become a critical bottleneck for reliability. Recently, a premier European communication server manufacturer—which has successfully transitioned from consumer electronics to becoming a core global supplier of AI computing networks and telecom base stations—approached Fluiomet with a highly specialized equipment requirement.
To validate the reliability of their next-generation, high-power server racks and optical base stations under rigorous environmental stress, the client required an advanced thermal testing solution. Traditional off-the-shelf environmental chambers could not accommodate the physical dimensions or the strict thermal profiles required for their large-scale communication hardware. They needed a massive, non-standard, custom-engineered Natural Convection Constant Temperature Chamber.

Technical Challenges & Engineered Solutions
As a leading industrial thermal equipment manufacturer, Fluiomet accepted the challenge, leveraging our advanced R&D and engineering capabilities to design and manufacture the largest machine of its type in the domestic market.
Key Specifications of the Custom Fluiomet Chamber
| Product Category | Natural Convection Constant Temp Chamber |
| Total Equipment Height | 3.1 Meters |
| Internal Test Cavity Volume | Over 5,000 Liters |
| Air Circulation Method | Pure Natural Convection (Zero Fan Distort) |
| Primary Application | AI Servers, Base Stations & Optical Hardware |
Designing a testing chamber with an internal volume exceeding 5,000 liters and a physical height of 3.1 meters requires precise structural engineering. Fluiomet’s engineering team utilized heavy-duty industrial framing and advanced multi-layer thermal insulation to ensure the chamber shell remains energy-efficient and structurally sound during long-cycle continuous testing, completely eliminating the risk of thermal leakage.
For sensitive electronic components and high-power AI server testing, forced-air circulation (fans) can create artificial cooling effects that mask true hardware hotspots. The client mandated a pure Natural Convection design. Fluiomet engineered a proprietary internal heating matrix that allows heat to rise and circulate naturally, perfectly mimicking the real-world convective environments of indoor data centers and sealed outdoor telecom enclosures.
In a 5,000-liter space, maintaining uniform temperature without forced air is incredibly difficult. Fluiomet integrated multi-zone micro-processor PID controllers and distributed ultra-sensitive thermal sensors throughout the cavity. This design delivers exceptional temperature control accuracy and a highly uniform internal thermal field, ensuring every layer of the server rack is tested under identical, precise conditions.
The completed Fluiomet Natural Convection Constant Temperature Chamber has successfully passed all factory acceptance testing (FAT) protocols and is now ready for deployment at the client’s European R&D facility.
100% Tailored to Standards: The equipment perfectly aligns with international telecom and data center reliability testing standards (including relevant CE, ISO, and industrial compliance profiles).
Uncompromising Stability: The unit demonstrates flawless operational stability, smooth temperature ramping, and outstanding reliability under continuous, heavy-load heat testing cycles.
Validating AI Hardware: The chamber provides a flawless environment for the client to stress-test high-power AI computing hardware, accelerating their time-to-market for next-generation infrastructure.
This milestone project stands as a testament to Fluiomet’s core competency in large-scale, high-precision, non-standard industrial custom customization. We do not just sell equipment; we engineer turnkey thermal testing solutions for the world’s most demanding tech sectors.
